In order to raise the understanding of the voluntary sector about this process SAVO and Young Suffolk has teamed up with Suffolk County Council to run three FREE training days.

They are - 13 August 2009 or 26 November 2009 or 17 February 2010 all at 9.30 to 4.30 in Endeavour House, Suffolk County Council, Ipswich.

Although grant-support and partnership agreements will continue to support the voluntary sector in Suffolk over the next few years Suffolk County Council are going to be putting an increasing number of their services out to tender.

The sessions will be a mixture of Voluntary and Community Sector places and some public sector staff, so there’s plenty of opportunity to share information, issues and ideas. Lunch is also provided.

We realise the first training session is very soon and in the summer holidays, but each training day is independent and there is still plenty of time to book for one of the later events!
