Grassroots GrantsThe ‘Go with the Flow’ bus project, which services young people living within the northern area of Suffolk Coastal, has been in operation for just over a year. Due to its success, the Project now requires a part time manager to over see day-to-day operations and ensure future strategic developments.

The project, of which Framlingham Area Youth Action Partnership is the accountable body, provides a safe and stimulating place for young people 12 yrs+, in a staffed converted double-decker bus, four nights week at different locations. Additional opportunities are also undertaken such as attending local events and daytime use.

As the project manager you will be expected to:
• Be responsible for overall management of the project and ensure that the project’s operational commitments are carried out.
• To recruit volunteers to actively support the project
• Identify opportunities for income generating project developments
• Carry out record keeping, monitoring and evaluation
• Be responsible for the publicity and promotion of the project
• Contribute to decisions relating to the development of the project in conjunction with the bus steering group

£22,489 Pro Rata
Part time 15 hrs/week

Applications are welcome from anyone with the motivation, skills and commitment to ensure the projects success. It is essential that the Project Manager is an excellent communicator and flexible. Experience in youth work would be highly desirable.

Initially the post is funded for 1 year by Suffolk Coastal Local Strategic Partnership.
