| New lease of life for economic support fund |

 A scheme which is helping grass-roots efforts to boost the local economy is being extended, with Suffolk Coastal’s Economic Development Support Fund (EDSF).
The scheme, which aims to revitalise market towns and population centres, was due to finish at the end of March but has now been extended indefinitely until the remaining amount of funding has been allocated. |

 The Big Lottery Fund UK has new guidelines for our Reaching Communities programme. These changes come in with immediate effect. The changes are primarily a response to cuts in funding across England and the anticipated increase in demand for our funding. |

| A limited sum of money has been identified within the mental health capital budget allocation which is being made available for organisations delivering mental health services. The maximum available is £100,000 and bids with an upper limit of £20,000 are invited but individual bids in excess of this will be considered if exceptional outcomes can be demonstrated. |
